Concentrates

Question:

Best vape pen for concentrates?

There are so many… Omicron, GPen, etc. I have never had any experience with any of them, so basically which portable vaporizing pen gives the most effective medicating experience, specifically while using concentrates? Looking for the best item for the best price…

Just purchased a Gpen 2 days ago, I liked it but myself and the Gpen are already growing apart. I’m looking into buying an Omicron. Sadly, I’m unsure if ill ever be completely satisfied with with any of the ” vapor pen style” concentrate vaporizors.

apparently the “persei” is suppose to be an “oil only” vape. With multiple cartridge styles, even one shaped like a domeless nail.

If u don’t keep up on the cleaning and use fresh cartridges and mouthpieces it clogs I’ve noticed. It hit like a dream for the first day, and now that I have cleaned it, its not bad again but I’m always looking for something new and better than the last.

Had a g pen about 2 months. It’s pretty dificult to get your Dab in the designated spot. It also has these strings inside it that if you touch with your dab tool, it shreds it and it sticks. Also for taste. When your hit is about done or close to taste the heating element inside. Chemically taste that’s very unpleasant. I was recently in a headshop and he suggested AtmosRaw Vaporizer. He said his buddy used it for concentrates and flower. It’s a nice unit from what I saw. Gpen is conveinient at times but to much of a hassle and taste is a huge factor for me. The cartridges also go bad fairly quickly and they are 25 a piece I believe

I was a fan of the Omicron. Hits really well except it gets a little hot at the mouthpiece but i probably just hit it too often. I want to try the GPen soon.

i have an omicron with the optional g-tank. load that thing up with some pure gold oil, and you get MAJOR oil rips. fat clouds. with the carts that come with it, you can get some nice tokes, but you have to get it warmed up good. i use mine at the mall, airport, airplanes, disneyland, in traffic, just about anywhere. everyone always thinks its a e-cig.

I have been using a Gpen for a month and I think I works good. I can load it and get a bg hit or use whats in the tank. You can load the tank but I have found that putting a dab on the heating eliment is best for a big hit. I did have tank eliment go bad with a lot of honey in the tank. Took out what I could so now I don’t tank load just dab. I bought a electronic charger but it broke after few weeks. The charger that came with the Gpen works fine and will stay with it. Nice that it charges on USB port.
    I like it so far.

A little while back I was looking for the same thing so I spent hours scowering over all the forum posts, reviews, and websites for the different vapes. The one I found that I liked the best and had an amazing amount of features was also one of the more expensive ones. The ThermoVape, a relatively new product, was what I purchased. Unlike most of the other pen vapes it has removable batteries that aren’t proprietary and are actually quite cheap and can be bought at most online battery outlets. The entire product is actually modular which makes it greatly expandable. If you don’t know what modular means it means that each piece of the device, a total of 5 in all I believe, have standard fittings that they use across the entire line. So if they ever upgrade any part of the piece you will be able to buy just the new piece and attach it to the old device. That being said you can purchase a special modular bowl that will allow you to use concentrates, solid or oil, while still maintaining the basic look and feel of the device.

The device comes with a total of 6 batteries, only 2 are needed to power the device. While the batteries last about 10 hits or so, if constantly rotated without allowing the bowl to really cool. The actual device does get pretty hot though. By pretty hot I mean you are almost literally burning your fingers on the trigger if rotated consistently. However to me this was a minor issue. The device also looks as if it is made out of some nasa grade materials and is virtually indestructible, unlike most other vape pens out there today. They have videos on their site showing it being burned, submerged, and run over with a truck and it stands up to all the tests. It also comes with a waterproof case for your extra batteries to keep them safe on the go. You also get both a standard wall as well as a car charger so no matter where you are your batteries are ready to go.

Personally all of these features coupled with all the way they have strived hard to fix anyone else’s issues that I have seen online definitely justified the $250 pricetag. Anyways I would give em a try http://www.thermovape.com

I have had several pens and a simple answer is that technology is just not good enough to make a cheap and awesome vape pen for waxes.

Atmos always seems to have a little bit better quality and design than other names

i.e. Atmos Thermo W as compared to GPen Micro… exact same look and all of the parts can even be swapped, but Atmos Thermo W has a small cap on the tip with a carbon filter.

Both of my GPen Micro atomizers broke within a month, but now I realize that I have 2 extra batteries for my Thermo W

I know I’m really reppin Atmos right now, but I’ve also heard that their Oil attachment for the Atmos RAW is incredible. I have it, but the battery broke before I could even use it :(
