Question:

How many grams of dank flowers make a gram of BHO?

I have made BHO a few times, sometimes with nug and sometimes with stem/trim. I feel like I have not yielded that much BHO for the amount of flowers I have used. How many flowers make a gram of concentrate in a small scale operation using a turkey baster? I know there isn’t an exact number just give me some estimates…

A 15% return is about normal. Some people get as much as 20% or as little as 10%.

Agreed, hard to even say one strain does larger returns verse another. Too inconsistent, always dabalicious tho

On avarage 7 grams of dank = 1 – 1.5 grams of oil. While using a 50 Micron Steel mesh screen..

expect less when using shit filters like coffee filters or disposable crap.

I think thats a great way to trap more oil in a paper filter…

There’s really not much oil at all left in the filter, I’ve heard people who do a ton of runs that use filters because it’s not even a noticeable amount and it really helps filtration and any problems with little specs of plant matter.

I disagree, I personally believe my product is comparable to the high end concentrates found anywhere. I use coffee filters every time.

“shit Filters” huh, how can you be sure your so godly “steel screens” are made from High quality steel, that they are clean and sanitary? Do you reuse them?

My ” Godly ” Stainless steel Filters are just that…. Stainless Steel Filters… There designed for this purpose not to filter coffee grounds from my morning breakfast.. I wouldnt slap my steel filter on my coffee machine anymore then i’ll slap my coffee machines filters on my Bho tube…

obviously i re-use them there a little too expensive to use once and dispose of.. Would you like to know my cleaning methods? A simple 99% iso batch to reclaim oil thats trapped in the filter then it gets folded and clamped back to the tube.. :D

You wanna use coffee filters be my guest i dont give a shit what you use.. my opinion is there crap they trap oil .. as far as flavor goes dont know about that.. but the same question can be asked of you how can you be sure your un-bleached filters havent been chemicaly treated and your now leeching strange chemicals into your BHO?!

I could go on all day asking you to prove this that and the other.. I just dont care enuff :D Use the filters you want.. Im still gonna say there fucking shit and tell people to use real filters like stainless steel :D

Indefinitely depends on medium, extraction tube dimensions, and amount of butane sprayed. Yield differs depending on these and strain. (some batches of the same strain blast better than others. I’ve never had an issue using coffee filters, hard to gauge quality of the screens people use so I choose to use coffee fliters.

I would never use coffee filters either. It just adds this taste to the end product, and I feel like it holds onto a lot of wax. What I usually do is just layer like 5 or 6 of whatever screen I can find, and that always works fine.

I am unsure on this “Taste” your speaking of, and are u 100 percent sure on what your “screens” are made from? How can you be sure your “screens” are 100 % clean? And I trim the filter back to avoid “run-up”
