Question:
What is the absolute best beginner strain?
A friend asked me this the other day, and since I’m on the east coast I haven’t had the opportunity to work with a lot of different strains; but considering ease to grow, yield and potency, what is the best beginner strain?, and also if your answer varies if it’s indoor or outdoor then please include both

I agree.. Blue Dream is one of those plants that ususally turns out fire even if you fuck up lol.

I’d agree on blue dream also probably some GDP or northern lights, maybe even a classic skunk strain, all of those are generally well known genetics which usually leads to resiliency and hardiness. Outdoor depending on location can be easy for a beginner grow but indoor is a lot easier to control the environment against pests temp, mold etc so for a beginner grow if possible I’d pick a well known genetically stable strain and try it indoors

I have found that for indoor starting off with a high end kush pheno: King kush, purple kush, hindu kush works really well. They seem to be very hearty plants and have a longer bounce back period from nut deficiency and over watering. Indica’s are also usually smaller and bushier so for a first grow they can be easier to conceal.

Im actually suprised to see kush listed as an ” easy ” or begginers strain my dood got 2 cuts of different kushs and found them both to be slight pains to grown and ended up cutting both from the garden to my sadness

I agree. I’ve found kushs to be a little difficult. That’s just from my experience though

thats funny I barely touch my current king and shes a beauty

Im guessing indoor cuz your on the east coast Ive heard Blue dream can grow almost anywere and always comes out decent even if grown poorly, Mike IDK wtf your saying silver haze for unless u got some retard phono, SSH or silver haze takes for ever to flower like 100 some odd days which means a lot more time for the plant to become deficient or seceptible to disease Im on my first grow and growing TGA 3D and cali connection Tahoe OG, both are doing awesome but id say go with TGA for beginner, very light on nutes and a hearty plant overall. However my Tahoe is super dank!

World of Seeds Medical Collection Northern Lights x Big Bud is GREAT for a beginner. Afghan strains also tolerate over/under watering issues, nute burn/def, and other forms of stress quite well. Next Generation BC Golden Skunk is also an easy grow for a beginner.
